Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how MCModGen may collect, use, and protect personal and technical information when you use the service. It is adapted from the structure of the referenced Player Games privacy policy and should be reviewed against your actual business, vendors, and contact details before production use.

Information We May Collect

  • Account information (such as email address, username, and authentication details)
  • Billing and payment information (for example, via Stripe or a similar payment processor)
  • Support requests and service communications
  • Device and browser information, IP address, browser headers used for authentication, and usage analytics
  • MCModGen prompt inputs, generated mod outputs, generation history, and related logs
  • Validation logs, error logs, performance metrics, and interaction data used to improve reliability and safety

How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain MCModGen features and accounts
  • Process payments and service communications
  • Improve generation quality, reliability, safety, and abuse detection
  • Analyze product usage and performance
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce service policies
  • Improve AI systems and generation workflows, subject to your service terms and applicable law

Third-Party Services

MCModGen may rely on the following third-party services for infrastructure and operations:

  • AI generation providers accessed through an OpenAI-compatible API gateway (currently configured to use OpenRouter by default, with requests routed to supported model providers you select)
  • Optional queue infrastructure providers when Redis queue mode is enabled (for example, a managed Redis host)
  • Vercel (planned) for website/app hosting, deployment, and edge delivery
  • Supabase (planned) for database, authentication, storage, and related backend services
  • Google Analytics (planned) for product analytics and usage measurement

These providers may process data on behalf of MCModGen in accordance with their own policies and contractual obligations.

Cookies & Tracking

  • Essential cookies or similar storage for authentication and basic functionality
  • Analytics cookies or telemetry (if enabled) to understand product usage
  • Browser controls may allow you to manage cookie settings, but disabling them may affect functionality

Retention, Security, and Rights

  • Data may be retained while your account is active, with shorter retention windows for some logs and redundant technical records (for example, 30-day windows for some redundant logs if you adopt that policy)
  • MCModGen should implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect data
  • Users may have rights to access, correct, or request copies of personal information, subject to applicable law and verification requirements (for example, a response target such as 60 days if you adopt one)
  • If used by children, age restrictions and applicable child privacy laws must be addressed in your final production policy

Data Location, Updates, and Contact

  • Document where MCModGen data is stored and processed (for example, US-only or multi-region)
  • State how policy changes will be communicated and how the last-updated date is maintained
  • Provide a real legal/privacy contact email and mailing address before production launch
